It is a pleasure to welcome you to Mike's Sport site. I will start off by supplying some brief info on my beloved sport teams
AS Roma
AS Roma was founded on 1927, and it now shares the city of Rome with rivals SS Lazio. AS Roma are considered an Italian Giant of Serie A and are currently sitting with a total of 14 titles and trophies. 3 Serie A titles (Scudetto), 7 Coppa Italia titles, 1 Super Coppa, 1 Fairs cup (Currently UEFA cup), 1 Coppa C.O.N.I, 1 Torneo Anglo Italiano.
AS Roma are promptly seeking their fourth Scudetto, and they nearly accomplished it in the 2003/2004 campaign, after battling with Milan for the majority of the season, only to lose it three games before the final match.
Washington Capitals
I started liking the Washington Capitals in the year of 1996. Peter Bondra and other certain players started making an impact in the league. Growing up in Canada, it is a tradition to love hockey. Loving the Washington Capitals was something else. The Washington Capitals unfortunately do not have a Stanley Cup to prove their skills. They have made it to the Stanley Cup finals in 1997/1998 to lose four straight against the Detroit Red Wings. The 2003/2004 campaign was their 30th anniversary in the NHL, and terribly it was one of their worst season's. Next year the Caps will be looking for serious redemption as they attempt to shock the hockey world and make big step for the playoffs.
Toronto Blue Jays
Living in Toronto, the Blue Jays are definitely not the chosen team. I was always a fan of Baseball, and I liked something in particular about the Jays. When they won the World Series back-to-back in the early 90's the city gelled together and there was a new sports era here in Toronto. From 93 to current the Jays have been slowly getting better. A young team, with a Cy Young pitcher could always get you into a playoff or Wild Card position.
